Practical, structured hoof care, education and resources for horse owners, particularly where access to hoof care professionals is limited.
Our Founding Belief
EquiHoof was founded on a simple belief: Better hoof care begins with better understanding.
Across many parts of Australia, horse owners face limited access to experienced hoof care professionals. While regular professional hoof care remains the preferred option wherever possible, the reality is that many owners are required to take a more active role in caring for their horses' hooves between professional visits, or, in some cases, where no regular hoof care service is available.
That is why EquiHoof brings multiple pathways to better hoof care together in one place: structured online education, personalised assessments and consultations, hands-on workshops and presentations, and professional farriery services across Western Australia's South West.
Our goal is not to replace professional hoof care, but to help owners make informed decisions, recognise when professional assistance is needed, and provide the best possible care for their horses, wherever they live and however they learn.

What Sets EquiHoof Apart
EquiHoof is built on the belief that good hoof care starts with good understanding. Whether through education, personalised hoof support, hands-on workshops or professional hoof care, everything we do focuses on helping people understand the why behind hoof care, not simply the how.
Everything we create is guided by three core principles:
Education Before Action
Better decisions begin with better understanding.
Responsible Hoof Care
Every decision should put the horse's welfare first.
Practical Learning
Knowledge should be clear, structured and useful.
Better understanding. Better decisions. Better hoof care.
Meet the Face of EquiHoof
Vetty Bailey
EquiHoof was founded by Vetty Bailey, farrier and hoof care practitioner in regional Western Australia. What began as a search for better hoof care for her own horses became a career, and eventually a mission: practical, structured hoof care education for every horse owner, no matter where they live.
I believe good hoof care starts with good education. Every horse owner deserves the opportunity to understand the why behind hoof care, develop sound judgement, and make informed decisions in the best interests of their horse. Professional hoof care will always be the preferred option wherever it is available, but when it isn't, education empowers owners to provide responsible care with confidence.
That is the purpose of EquiHoof.
